Do not leave this machine unattended during operation!

It is necessary to get an introduction to the machine before using it for the first time. Make sure to ask in the chat, preferably in the Textiles channel in matrix. Find here who can give introductions for authorization required machines

The machine lives on the Embroidery Cart.
To the right side of the cart you will find the embroidery frames.
You will find all sorts of supplies at the cart, like fleece, thread and bobbin thread and more bobbins.
Replacement embroidery needles can be found in the pull-out display that hangs above the Textiles desks.
The Embroidery Cart can be moved.
Make sure to put the brakes on the cart wheels any time it's stationary.
We recommend moving the cart where there is enough space for the machine's arm to move without obstacles.
Be mindful that the Textiles corner is rather small and gets crowded easily - consider moving to the lobby if it's not disrupting others' work.
Please ONLY use embroidery thread.
It is treated in a way that it's silkier than regular sewing thread, for optimal embroidery results. Embroidery thread lives at the Embroidery Cart; if you're not sure if your thread is correct please always ask.
For the bobbin thread (bottom thread) we recommend using white thread. There is a big spool of white thread (marked "bobbin thread") in the cart that you can use for your bobbins.
If the tension is correct, the bottom thread should not be visible on the "right side" your embroidery piece, and using white thread helps to not run out of the beautiful colored threads too quickly.
Toss a coin to your ... piggy bank 💸💸💸
The machine goes through a lot of thread, embroidery fleece and heavily used needles. We would love to continue replenishing that.
A suggested price list is available on-site. We suggest an extra donation of 2 Euro per meter of embroidery fleece.
