Hi there and a happy New Year,
here are some news and updates from xHain:
¶ FOUNDING A VEREIN
It was a long session but me managed to found a Verein (association) on 12th of December at 11pm. Big thanks and shout-out to all who helped to make this a reality!! This took a lot of effort by many people and was almost a year in the making. Next steps are the registration, finishing the rules of procedure and to grow a bit.
There will be no changes for members of xHain gUG for now. While the foundations of the Verein are being laid out, we are going to increase its numbers carefully.
After its registration and with a finished rules of procedure, it will replace the Enting as administrative organ.
The founding members are: Björn, Dave, Danimo, Lukas, Rafa, Niclas, Sebastian und Richard.
¶ CHAOS COMMUNICATION CONGRESS
The 37c3 has been only a few days ago, and some of us who attended are still recovering from the lack of sleep and the short glimpse of chaotic utopia.
Our xHain Assembly was neatly located and decorated with the blinky LED tetrahedron and a small matrix of the Blinkenlights LED matrix from the CCCamp23. The vacuum bot lorxor brought played "Last Christmas" while driving in circles on the balcony, a successful evening!
With the vast amount of lights and colourful decoration, the music - and caffeine we all needed to survive - it was a fantastical and wonderful few days in rainy Hamburg. All of us have returned in one piece, most of us socially recovered and we even brought fun new stickers!
Watching media.ccc and chilling sounds like a superb idea for a rainy Sunday, there have been a great amount of interesting talks 
¶ ENTING DECISIONS
¶ (2023-12-20) Timeline for founding the Verein
Accepted Proposal: Timeline for founding the Verein
- We open the current Satzung for a final round of change requests.
- Change requests to the current Satzung can be submitted by any member till the 01.12.2023.
- Change requests must be written down and refer to specific paragaphs and how they should be changed.
- We work on the German version of the Satzung.
- Change requests are collected in the wiki
- We will set a date for the Gründungsversammlung of the Verein. It should happen as soon as possible after the 1.12., but ensure that all founding members have time or are fine with being absent.
- The founding members are the current members of the Enting.
- On the Gründungsversammlung we will decide on all submitted change requests using the decisions process of the Enting.
