here are some news and updates from xHain:
On June 8th we're going to have another Infrastructure Saturday, xHain's own beauty spa day. Building, sorting and cleaning, followed by a dinner in the evening. There is a lot of tasks to choose from, everybody should find something rewarding.
Please don't use xHain for personal projects past 1pm, if it takes up much space and prevent infrastructure task going forward. Thanks!
From September 1st one of our co-working space will be vacant. Can we afford to use it ourself? If so, for what? These will be topics in the upcoming Round Tables, join the discussion!
Am Dienstag, 18.06.24, um 19 Uhr ist Christina beim Gespräch unter Bäumen. Christina ist studierte Biologin, aber ihre Liebe zu Käfern und Spinnen ist angeboren. Kurz: Christina ist eine Naturkundin, wie sie im Buche steht. Weil im Juni die Außen-Temperatur stimmt, bringt Christina Madagaskar-Fauchschaben, Phasmiden und andere wirbellose Tiere in einer Fauna-Box mit zum Gespräch unter Bäumen. Und neben den Tieren bringt sie Antworten mit: Warum würde das globale Ökosystem ohne Asseln, Käfer und andere Aufräumer zusammenbrechen? Wieso sind dem Menschen Hunde und Katzen immer noch wichtiger? Und was hat ein Leben in Kooperation mit den Bäumen auf sich?
