here are some news and updates from xHain:
In our process, code name "Vereinsgründung", we got word from Finanzamt and our Vereinssatzung seems to be fine. Still, one further step to the "e.V.".
Our yearly meeting is going to be at December 6th, at 20:00. We're going to welcome new members, review the Geschäftsordnung des Vorstands and vote a new Vorstand. Even though you might not yet be part of the new association, it is still interesting, because we will discuss the future structure of xHain.
We have started a process to make xHain more welcoming and inclusive. This involves, among other things, the creation of a branch "inclusion and diversity", training of mediators, and the creation of bodies people can turn to when they are feeling unwell or harassed.
We would like this to be thorough process and take our time to design the setup well. The first block will be the creation of the branch "inclusion and diversity", to be kickstarted at the Round Table Meeting on November 6.
We are looking for kind people to help with our weekly support event for young people. It's actually not different from Open Monday, just to be available for young people at xHain from 16:00 to 18:00 every Friday. If you like to join the effort please contact Eva (@paleva:x-hain.de) or Sebastian (@snordhoff:x-hain.de).
Please don't let your joint or cigarette butt lying around on our window ledges. We do have young people and children at xHain, but also a public image. If you see a person leaving its half smoked jolly, please remind that person in a kind way. Thanks!
