Because of recent events we'd like to remind everyone that installing VPN / remote access software that allows outside access into the xHain network is strictly prohibited. It risks the integrity and security of several of our systems including our xDoor. Failure to abide by these rules will carry consequences. Please do not install anything of the sort without permission and reach out on the "ask your admin" Channel if you need any help with our network infrastructure or with transferring data.
Please ensure that you have gotten an introduction from the area curator or an authorized person before using any of our machines. We have to ensure that people are not hurt by our tools and that they stay functional so people can use them without interruptions. Previous expertise from having used similar tools before is not an adequate replacement for an introduction.If these rules are not followed this can result in severe consequences for the individual responsible. It may also lead to tools being temporarily unavailable if we can't guarantee that they are operated safely and responsibly.If you have any questions or concerns whether a tool requires an introduction feel free to ask in the appropriate channel or contact the area's curator.
