here are some news and updates from xHain:
We will get the keys to our new additional space on Monday, November 3rd. In the evening, starting 19:00, all members are invited to have a look around and to warm up with it.
From November 4th to 10th we will do a lot of work in the new space. Mainly remove old infrstructure, installing a new floor, painting walls and installing a kitchen. We will encounter a lot of unforeseen obstacles, too. Please join our efforts in great numbers, you'll find the schedule in our calendar, thanks!
We have an open door policy at xHain, anybody can come in and get a tour and answers. But this only works if all members take part in it.
It is our responsibility to check, if the person walking in is a member of xHain. If not, it is polite to answer questions and to offer a tour. This applies especially to Open Mondays. We would urge members to rise to the occasion, it is an ongoing task we all share.
We're currently in the voucher phase and the lists are packed! Join the #39C3 channel for updates around planning of our assembly, distributing vouchers and announcing future meetups. Next meeting will be on 2025-10-29 as of writing, look at the pad or calendar for upcoming events in November.
On December 10th at 19:00 we will meet again for an xHain e.V. Mitgliederversammlung and all members are invited. Save the date, details will follow.

Accepted proposal: To support our Branches for upcoming rearrangements, xHain allocates some basic funding, meant to be used for furniture and infrastructure.

Wir feiern Abschied vom Gespräch unter Bäumen. Wir machen eine kleine Umfrage, wo ihr eigentlich sonst so eure Freizeit verbringt. Wir essen zusammen. Und ich bringe euch das Zine mit - das 50. und letzte, schriftliche Gespräch unter Bäumen zum Mitnehmen.
