here are some news and updates from xHain:
On Saturday April 5th we'll have a dedicated infrastructure day for accessibility. We will meet from 11AM to 5PM and since this is the first one, we'll try some new things. There are regular introduction rounds in Hobelhöhle (Tuesdays 18:00), in 3D Lab (Wednesdays 18:30) and LaserLab (everey 2nd Wednesday at 18:30). It's not only for introductions, you can also ask for input on your projects. Make sure to check the calendar and thank the member!

Accepted proposal: xHain will withdraw from the project AlexHain
Reasoning: After the last member-meeting of the AndersMachen e.V. that coordinates the "Haus der Statistik" project, we came to the conclusion that xHain can no longer be a part of the formed Genossenschaft. We debated this after hearing that the general costs would be already rising 100% and the future of the project itself seemed more doomed than hopeful.
Accepted proposal: Sebastian C shall become a new Ent.
Accepted proposal: To maintain a respectful and constructive space, we have banned a User, temporary for 14 days, due to repeated disruptive behavior and refusal to follow moderator guidance. Despite multiple warnings, they continued to derail discussions and disregard requests to move conflicts offline. This decision was made to ensure a positive experience for all members. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping this chat a welcoming environment.
Accepted proposal: The Scubar-Bar shall only be used by members and their guests. If you find a non-member, who is not invited by a certain member, please inform that person politely about the rule change and ask kindly to not use the bar. Additionally please make sure to include this new rule on the Open Monday tour.
Rationale: The Scubar is legally non-public and by members for members only. It is not a cheap public bar, but gets increasingly viewed as such. As in people coming by only to drink at the Scubar, unaware of our space rules or community standards. This led to uncomfortable situations in the past weeks, including aggression and soiling.
