On December 11th we will have our Mitgliederversammlung, where we will vote on new Ordentliche Mitglieder and all Vorstand seats. We are still developing the process.
For the application as Ordentliches Mitglied and/or Vorstand we are hosting an information session on Friday 13th of November at 20:00. It is required to attend if you are interested in applying. If you can't attend, please contact Richard for a substitute session.
xHain is held up and together by its Curators. There are currently 35 Curator assignments, a big shout-out to their commitment! We are still growing in member figures. Thanks to our ongoing expansion this is still not a problem regarding space, but the growth of the community pales in comparison. To help with that, the idea is, that Curators take more charge in community building and personal matters.
That does not mean, that the current Curators should take up even more responsibilites, it means we have to find additional Curators, whose focus lies more on communication and community building. Things like doing workshops, mediating personal conflicts, organising InfraDay and point of contact in the chat. If you can see yourself in such a role for your favourite Branch, think about to apply.
The capacity of one Curator is limited and experience shows, that most can only do it for a limited time. So we are constantly in need of fresh, fully charged, new Curators, to keep things running. Look into your heart if you could donate some attention for a few months or years, to help maintaining and developing a Branch. Ask your doctor if being a Curator is right for you.
If you are a key holder of xHain, your SSH key will also work for G20. Check with https://wiki.x-hain.de/en/Infrastructure/xDoor/app-setup how to set it up. Might take a few days till all how-to’s are updated.
If vacant feel free to use Lichtung at G20 as refuge.
As of now all 3 locations can be opened via SSH. Big thanks to all involved!
Next step is to set up knobs and door buzzer for all entrances, which will be buzzed by xBadge, a member card with RFID.

Accepted Proposal: Add Jude as AVX Curator.
Reasoning: He's already doing introductions and orientations for members, he has the availability to oversee upcoming infrastructure projects and Quentin trusts him.
Accepted Proposal: Add Kiwi (@kiwigantes:x-hain.de) as new Curator for Kombüse.
Reasoning: She has experiences with cooking at Kombüse for InfraDay and has the support and assistance of Marin, Charlie and Richard.
Accepted Proposal: Add Joe (@ohnoitsjoe:x-hain.de), Sören (@binbash:x-hain.de) and Buğrahan (@stc:x-hain.de) as new Curators for bmxHain.
Reasoning: bmxHain is newly founded and in need of responsible persons. These three founded the new Branch and are very active at it.
